Frequently Asked Questions

  • I provide online individual therapy to adults (18+). My practice is proudly LGBTQIA+ affirming and inclusive of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and relationship structures, including polyamory and ethical non-monogamy.

  • I have extensive experience working with a wide variety of mental health conditions. My primary focus is on the treatment of ADHD, depression, and anxiety. However, I have worked with many other diagnoses such as OCD, gender dysphoria, high functioning autism, and trauma.

Feeling unsure about a problem not listed here? I encourage you to ask me about it during your free consultation. It is my duty to inform you if the problem you’re facing is outside my scope of practice, and I may be able to refer you to another provider.

  • As a therapist, I take an eclectic approach, which means I blend different therapy styles to best fit your needs. I primarily draw from these methods:

    • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): We work together to understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

    • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): This helps us identify your core values, so you can move toward being the person and living the life you want.

    • Positive Psychology: Rather than just reducing symptoms, we focus on building a more balanced, meaningful, and fulfilling life.

    • Solution-Focused Therapy: We concentrate on the here and now. Instead of focusing heavily on the past or future, we target the present. Our goal is to take action on what you can control right now, and learn to let go of what you can't change or predict.

  • My style is flexible and conversational. We’ll collaborate on tackling your biggest challenges in real time—using tools like body-doubling, cognitive behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy—so you leave each session with progress to celebrate and sense of pride in your growth.

  • Many individuals do not have access to insurance for a variety of reasons. My private pay fee is set as low as possible to remain accessible, while acknowledging that the session cost allows me to sustain a financially healthy practice. Given that information, my out-of-pocket fee for a 45 minute session is $125 and $150 for a 60 minute session.

  • I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Massachusetts. My license number is LMFT5000681.
